For more than 70 years, Rain Bird has been active in the field of irrigation of sports parks, municipal parks and consumer gardens. For example, Rain Bird has mist sprinklers and turbine sprinklers, among other things. Misters are sprinklers that continuously spread the water as a mist over the same surface, in contrast to the turbine sprinklers that spread the water over the ground surface like a curtain of rain by means of a circular jet. The turbine sprinklers are suitable for larger areas such as the lawn, and misters are suitable for smaller areas such as borders, planting and flower beds. Rain Bird also has a series of larger turbine sprinklers for e.g. sports field irrigation, some of which can easily reach a radius of more than 30 metres.
