Brass compression fittings can be used to easily and quickly make a connection between gas or water pipes without welding or soldering. By tightening the nut at the compression fitting, the pipe is clamped and secured. This Bonfix compression coupling has a compression connection with a diameter of .. mm on both sides.

De millimetermaat is de buitendiameter van de aan te sluiten buis, niet de binnenmaat of sleutelwijdte van de fitting. Draadmaten staan in inch. Kies naast de maat ook de juiste aansluitvorm en het geschikte buismateriaal.
Kort de buis recht af, ontbraam en controleer het buiseind op vervorming en krassen. Steek de buis volledig in de passende fitting, draai de wartel handvast en houd het huis met een tweede sleutel tegen. Volg daarna de BONFIX-tabel voor de juiste buissoort en diameter. Te ver aandraaien kan schade of lekkage veroorzaken. Controleer de verbinding op dichtheid.
